CLEVELAND — There’s a new place to grab a bite to eat at Playhouse Square in downtown Cleveland: Welcome to Something Good Social Kitchen.
This brand-new establishment, located at a cart in the Playhouse Square Plaza, was co-founded by Ricky Smith, the mastermind behind Random Acts of Kindness Everywhere (RAKE).
Something Good Social Kitchen is focused on charity. That’s because every time a meal is purchased, a free meal is donated to somebody in need.
Feeling hungry? Something Good Social Kitchen’s menu showcases a variety of hot dogs, burgers with a chopped style, and fries with names that will lift your spirits. Let’s take a closer look at some of the offerings:
HOT DOGS
- White American cheese, Cleveland Ketchup Co. ketchup, Pop Mustard and sweet relish.
- Crispy bacon, crispy onion straws and BBQ sauce.
- Beef chili, cheddar and white American cheese.
BURGERS
- Chopped burger tossed with BBQ sauce, sautéed green peppers and onions.
- Mushrooms, grilled onions, Swiss and American cheese and banana peppers.
- Chopped burger with yellow American cheese, lettuce, pickles, onions and special sauce.

Something Good Social Kitchen also serves up a free joke of the day.
“Laughter burns calories. You’re welcome,” according to a message on their menu.
