A $100 million Powerball prize remains unclaimed a week after the winning ticket was announced. Lottery officials are urging players to register their tickets to ensure they don’t miss out on their winnings.
The winning entry was bought at Bondi Junction Newsagency and Internet Cafe, 191-195 Oxford Street, Bondi Junction.
A single ticket purchased in Sydney won the entire $100 million jackpot on June 12. In order to facilitate easy communication in case of a win and to secure the prize, players are encouraged to register their entries through The Lott Members Club, whether bought in-store or online.
Even if a registered ticket is lost or damaged, she said, the holder could still get their prize.
She urged people to ask their retailer about registering, or to do so online.
While winners in New South Wales have up to six years to claim their prizes, The Lott is eager to get in touch with the lucky individual who hit the jackpot as soon as possible to kickstart the prize claim process.

“We pay division one prizes two weeks after the draw, so this prize is ready to be put into someone’s bank account in a week’s time – on Friday 27 June 2025,” she said.
“The first step is to give us a call on 131 868 if you think you are holding the division one winning entry.”
The winning numbers in last Thursday’s draw were 28, 10, 3, 16, 31, 14, and 21, with a Powerball number of 6.
