Netflix star Sara Burack has been killed in a hit-and-run crash in the Hamptons.
Burack, who was featured on the reality show Million Dollar Beach House, was hit on a Hampton Bays road by a driver who fled the scene.
A passerby dialed 911 to alert authorities about an ‘injured woman’ on Montauk Highway, close to Villa Paul Restaurant, just before 3am as per Southampton Town police.
Officers arrived on scene to find the famed high-end New York City-based real estate agent unconscious and lying in the road.
Burack, 40, was transported to nearby Stony Brook University Hospital and later pronounced dead.
Law enforcement has initiated a search for the driver, who is currently on the run. Officials have not shared any details about the suspect or the vehicle involved in the incident so far.
She is known for her appearance on Million Dollar Beach House, which ran for one season in 2020.

Burack was previously an agent for Nest Seekers International, a global real estate firm specializing in luxury properties.
She worked primarily in the firm’s New York City and Hamptons market before leaving the agency last year.
Burack also featured in the Netflix’s reality show Million Dollar Beach House, which is set in the Hamptons.
The star claimed the show offered an inside look at ‘summer in the Hamptons’ that went beyond the ‘beautiful multimillion-dollar beach and estates’.
‘With scenes from broker open houses, polo games, life and more, there is sure to be an awww from viewers!’ she told Hamptons.com ahead of the show’s release.
Burack discovered her loved for real estate after spending many years working for her family’s commercial construction and material sales business.
‘I have always been intrigued by real estate projects and decided to become a broker after my experience as a summer property manager in the summer house I would rent,’ she told the outlet.
She would spend about half the year conducting business in the Hamptons and the other half in the city.
Burack admitted the Hamptons is primarily a ‘second home market’ and said her clients would often purchase properties there as a ‘getaway’ or ‘investment’ home.
‘Buyers go all out with these homes!’ she added.

Geoff Gifkins, Nest Seeker’s Hamptons regional manager, says that despite her recent departure from the firm, Burack kept in contact with her former colleagues.
‘Our thoughts and prayers are with family and friends,’ he told Newsday. ‘Please be kind and respectful as this is a tremendous loss to her parents and close friends.’
Before she embarked on her various careers, Burack studied at Franklin and Marshall College in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, her StreetEasy profile states.
She graduated in just three years and even studied abroad in London twice during her time at the college.
She routinely participated in festivals and award shows around the globe, with those who knew her hailing her ‘gregarious and energetic personality’.
Her loved ones claim she would ‘befriend everyone she meets’ and was ‘loved greatly’. She was also an avid philanthropist.

Real estate agent Paulette Corsair, who was also a close family friend, told the outlet how she was with Burack just hours before her tragic death.
Corsair wants Burack to be remembered for her charity work.
‘I want people to remember she was an amazing person who really cared for people. She was a hardworking real estate agent who was there for others,’ she added.
