CHICAGO (WLS) — The Chicago White Sox are changing the name of their ballpark from Guaranteed Rate Field to to Rate Field.
Rate CEO Victor Ciardelli announced that the company recently changed its name from Guaranteed Rate to Rate to improve customer accessibility for home-buying assistance. As part of this transition, the iconic ballpark associated with the company will now be known as Rate Field. Ciardelli expressed his gratitude towards Jerry Reinsdorf and his team for their exceptional support throughout the renaming process. The partnership with the Chicago White Sox is highly valued, and Rate is excited to unveil its new name at the renowned ballpark, celebrating the loyal baseball fans in the vibrant city of Chicago.
The ballpark was originally called Comiskey Park, before changing it to U.S. Cellular Field and then Guaranteed Rate Field.
Brooks Boyer, the White Sox chief revenue and marketing officer, highlighted the longstanding relationship with Rate as a naming rights partner. He emphasized the shared dedication of both Rate and the White Sox to serve the Chicago community and sports enthusiasts.
