Luigi Mangione is facing serious charges, including first-degree murder in furtherance of terrorism. Additionally, he is accused of two counts of second-degree murder, one of which implicates him in the murder of CEO Brian Thompson as an act of terrorism.
Since his arrest, Mangione’s family has not visited him. However, he has been meeting with his defense team, which now includes prominent attorney Karen Friedman-Agnifilo. Prior to his capture, police spoke with Mangione’s mother, who expressed that the shooting “might be something that she could see him doing.”
