Philadelphia Phillies star Garrett Stubbs keeps the energy high in the clubhouse, and he has wife Evyn Murray cheering him on from the sidelines.
The baseball player was first chosen by the Houston Astros in the 2015 MLB Draft. He made his official debut in the major league four years later. His relationship with Murray started in January 2021, and she has stood by him during significant moments in his baseball career.
In September of the same year, Murray expressed her admiration for Stubbs as he played at San Diego’s Petco Park against the Padres, his hometown team. She posted on Instagram, “It all came full circle for you @garrettstubbs, and I think it’s obvious when I say there’s no one more deserving than you. 🙂 you made it home. 🤍 i love you.”
Even when Stubbs was traded to the Phillies towards the end of 2021, Murray continued to show her unwavering support. Now recognized as the team’s “chief vibes officer,” Stubbs keeps the energy high off the field, especially during the offseason while wearing his Phillies overalls. The city has warmly embraced the couple.
Following the pair’s December 2023 engagement, the Phillies sent their well-wishes via social media, writing, “You just know the vibes are top notch. 🕺 Congratulations to the future Mr. and Mrs. Stubbs!”
