An Australian couple have become overnight multi-millionaires after winning $20 million in the Oz Lotto draw.
The only division one winning ticket from Oz Lotto’s 1485 draw belonged to a couple from Goulburn in western NSW, and they walked away with a staggering $20,034,030.85.
The Southern Tablelands players said they were no longer Aussie battlers.
‘I‘m in tears mate. Every time I think I’m okay, the waterworks kick off again,’ the husband said.
‘I don‘t even know what to do with myself.
‘We’ve always been Aussie battlers. Not anymore, though, I guess.’

Following their big win, the husband from Goulburn mentioned that his first priority is taking care of his family before possibly considering retirement. A news agency in Goulburn captured this moment.
He plans to help his family out so they ‘don’t have to worry about anything’
‘I dropped into the store this morning to check my ticket and the team member gave me a shocked look,’ he said.
‘He said, ‘you might need to sit down, mate’.”
The man also revealed his incredible plan for the money.
‘I can’t wait to share it with my family. I’ll set everyone up and make sure they don’t have to worry about anything,’ he said.
The couple joked they would not make it into the office to resign after their massive win.
‘Retirement is beckoning. I’m not sure if we’ll actually make it back into work at this rate.’ they said.
‘We might just run away!’
The lucky winners golden numbers were 22, 42, 38, 33, 27, 23, 39, while the supplementary numbers were 4 and 37 and 20.
