Travis Barker’s 19-year-old daughter, Alabama, quickly taken to a hospital in Los Angeles

Alabama Barker, the 19-year-old daughter of Travis Barker, experienced a medical emergency related to nicotine withdrawal from a vape pen in Los Angeles around a month ago.

The daughter of Shanna Moakler and stepdaughter of Kourtney Kardashian, Alabama, sought medical attention after abruptly stopping her vape habit, sources revealed to TMZ on Monday.

Following her decision to quit vaping, Alabama experienced feelings of panic and sickness while alone one day, prompting her to call 911. She was then quickly taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Insiders told TMZ that after medical personnel examined her, they chalked up her symptoms to ‘nicotine withdrawal,’ which is common with people who cease using in full immediately. 

Alabama was described by sources as ‘an occasional vaper’ who quit after she decided to explore a career in rap music. 

Alabama ditched the unhealthy habit on the advice of music industry professionals who told her the practice would impact her ability to perform.

Alabama last week showed off a number of her lavish gifts in a new TikTok, uploaded to her account.

In her ‘ultimate Christmas haul’ video on Thursday, the 19-year-old, who is the youngest child of the Blink-182 drummer and his ex-wife Moakler, unveiled more than $80,000 worth of presents from her family.

During the lengthy recording, the Heartbreaker hitmaker highlighted some of her favorite items, which included a $7,950 Balenciaga rhinestone shoulder bag, Chrome Hearts gloves, multiple diamond necklaces and a vintage Dior Boston bag.

Another standout included her third Cartier Love bracelet from her father. 

‘It’s kind of, like, a tradition now,’ she said of her $29,200 bangle. ‘Like, every year I get a better one.’ 

She also praised her dad for gifting her a Enfants Riches jacket, which retails for $7,850. 

‘The details are just tea,’ she said of the overcoat, before thanking Kris Jenner for gifting her a Chanel backpack.

The gift from Jenner resells for upward of $3,466.

Before ending the video, she held up her ‘favorite [gift] of all,’ a black Hermès Birkin bag. According to Sotheby’s, the designer purse ranges in price anywhere from $14,000 to $20,000.

She also noted it was her second Birkin. 

‘This haul would literally pay my mortgage and all my debt,’ one TikTok user commented. Another wrote: ‘Ohhhh to be born into money.’ 

‘The nicest gift was the Channel backpack from Kris! She has great taste!’ a third weighed in. 

One fan, however, defended her.

‘Why y’all hating on her I mean at the end of the day she’s a sweet girl and is so grateful why u guys rude it’s not all about money,’ they wrote. 

In her TikTok, Alabama revealed that while she was feeling too sick to celebrate her birthday on Christmas Eve, she managed to rally for Christmas Day.

On her birthday, her father shared a sweet tribute, in which he called her his ‘angel.’ 

‘I can’t believe I’m saying that. I’m so proud of you and I love watching you grow. Never settle, the stars aren’t too far away. Never give up, never give in. I love you unconditionally. I love you to the moon and back. Dad,’ he captioned a slideshow of photos of her taken over the years.

Her stepmom took to her Instagram Story to share a sweet bathroom mirror selfie of them together.

In the snap, Alabama can be seen holding up a peace sign as Kourtney smiled at the camera. 

‘Happy happy birthday!’ the reality star, 45, wrote on the image. ‘You are a blessing to my life!’ 

In addition to Alabama, Travis shares his son Landon, 21, and stepdaughter Atiana, 25, with Moakler.

He and Kourtney welcomed their first child together, Rocky Thirteen in November 2023. She is also a mom to Mason, 15, Penelope, 12, and Reign, 10, who she shares with ex Scott Disick.
