Teen Girl Tells Police Caretaker Abandoned Her Alongside Road

A teenage girl walked into a Georgia police precinct early Monday morning and told officers she had been abandoned on the side of the road.

The Clayton County Police Department reported that a girl was left on the side of the road near the precinct in Ellenwood, Georgia, southeast of Atlanta. The girl’s caretaker apparently abandoned her and has not been able to provide any information about the girl’s home address, directions, or a way to contact her family.

She’s described as about 5 feet 1 inch tall and 180 pounds with long black hair in braids and brown eyes.
