Janelle Brown from ‘Sister Wives’ excluded Kody from daughter’s graduation amid escalating conflict.

After a period of intense conflict, Janelle has made it clear that Kody will not be attending their daughter’s graduation. Previously, Janelle openly expressed her frustrations with Kody’s perspective on their marriage.

This decisive action reflects the deteriorating relationship between Kody Brown and his children, as multiple reports indicate that the majority of them prefer their father to be absent from important occasions.

In the latest development of their ongoing dispute, Janelle went public with her declaration that the father of eighteen is not permitted to participate in family gatherings, which includes their daughter Savanah’s upcoming graduation.

“Kody is alienated from 90 to 95 percent of his children,” the mother-of-six revealed, highlighting the ongoing strain in Kody’s relationships with their kids before adding, “He is not really wanted at events. He is not coming regardless of who he brings or doesn’t bring with him.”

According to TooFab, the tension between Janelle and Kody has only grown since their split, and in Sunday’s “Sister Wives” episode, she took a firm stance when she threw a graduation party for their youngest daughter, excluding Kody from the celebration. 

“Kody has this idea that somehow if he leaves Robyn home, he’s going to be able to come to these family gatherings. And that’s so far from the truth,” she added, making it clear that the rift between them is irreparable. 

While Kody may have attended his daughter Savanah’s graduation ceremony in May 2023, the family drama did not stop there. After the ceremony, the 55-year-old posed for a picture with Savanah, but the moment was notably separate from his other children. 

Gabriel, Gwendlyn, and the late Garrison (who was still alive at the time) also posed with their sister, subtly underscoring the growing rift between Kody and his kids.

Though Kody made an appearance at the ceremony, his absence at Savanah’s graduation party, hosted by Janelle, fueled the tension. The TV personality revealed his frustrations, hinting that the family would only accept him if he left his current wife, Robyn, behind.

“I’d like to be a part of Savanah’s life, but it’s like they’re in this collusion that seems to hate Robyn, and I don’t know why other than, well, they’re jealous,” Kody stated. 

“I’ve got this whole other side of the family that have decided that they’re still a family and we’re out.Now, they’ll let me in that club as long as I leave Robyn behind. I can’t do that,” he added. 

In addition to standing her ground when it comes to their children, The Blast reported that she did the same with their marriage. During the October 27 episode of the hit series, Janelle directly challenged Kody’s selective memory regarding their marriage. 

The family’s patriarch had downplayed their relationship while discussing his split from Meri, claiming that Janelle was not interested in being in a relationship.

In response, the entrepreneur did not hold back, sharply criticizing his dismissive attitude toward their past. “He has amnesia when it comes to the past,” she said, refuting Kody’s claim that he never truly loved his three ex-wives. 

As Janelle put it, “You just can’t keep up that kind of pretense for 20 years,” before firmly stating, “He can say whatever he wants. It’sfine, because I just don’t care anymore.”

Janelle also took aim at the father of her children over his role as a grandfather. She criticized him for being absent in the lives of her daughter Madison’s three children—Axel, Evie, and Josephine.

This marked another instance of Janelle confronting Kody about his strained relationships, not only with their children but also with his grandchildren. Her frustration was clear as she pointed out his lack of involvement in their lives.

Kody, however, brushed off Janelle’s concerns, dismissing her expectations as “unrealistic.” He also argued that Madison’s distance made regular visits difficult.

While Janelle called him out, Kody shifted the blame for the growing rift onto his children. In a tense moment during a “Sister Wives” episode, he accused his older kids of “betrayal,” claiming their actions were the main cause of the breakdown in their relationships.

His comments sparked further conflict, especially with his fourth and only remaining wife, Robyn, who urged him to make amends with his children. 

However, Kody stood his ground, insisting, “I’m not gonna do it with a rejection every single time. I’m not abandoning my children. They have betrayed me.” Kody’s emotional confession revealed the depth of his hurt, stating:

“I’m not gonna sit here and fight with you, have a rift in our relationship caused by these people who have created the biggest rift in my life.“

As Kody and Janelle Brown’s ongoing feud continues to escalate, their entire family dynamic continues to be at risk.
