NYC group robbed 49 stores all over city, stole ATMs, cash: police

Authorities in New York City are on the lookout for a group of robbers who have been targeting stores and stealing ATMs along with tens of thousands of dollars in cash. The crime spree has spanned 49 stores across the city over a three-month period.

The burglars, consisting of three individuals, have been active in various areas including Upper Manhattan, The Bronx, Brooklyn, and Queens. Their operations took place between September 19 and December 26, as per a report by the New York Post.

The group’s modus operandi involves stealing ATMs from within the targeted stores and escaping with not just cash but also other valuables. They then flee the scene in stolen getaway cars to avoid capture, according to the police.

Fox News Digital reached out to the NYPD for more information but did not immediately hear back.
