CSP report shows auto theft on the decline in Colorado

DENVER — Colorado’s auto theft rates are declining for the second year in a row.

According to a recent report from the Colorado State Patrol, auto theft in the state decreased by 25% compared to 2023.

The report states that overall, over the last two years, Colorado has seen a 41% reduction in auto thefts since 2022.

The CSP cautioned that while auto theft in Colorado continues to decline, it’s still a problem in the state.
