Paris Hilton Documents Emotional Visit to Burned Down L.A. Home

Paris Hilton is sharing an emotional update after her Los Angeles home burned down in fires sweeping the area.

Hilton, 43, posted a video on Instagram on Thursday, January 9, showing the aftermath of the fires that started on January 7 and swept through parts of L.A., including Pacific Palisades, Malibu, and the Hollywood Hills. In the video, she expressed her deep sorrow at the devastation of her home.

In the video’s caption, Hilton described the heartbreak of seeing her home in ruins, mentioning how the news initially shocked her, but witnessing the destruction firsthand was even more heartbreaking. She expressed her immense sadness at the loss of not just a house, but a place filled with cherished memories and love shared with her family.

Referring to her son Phoenix, who is about to turn 2, Hilton talked about the sentimental value of the home, where precious moments and memories were created. She reflected on the art her son made and the love that filled every corner of the house, making the loss even more devastating to comprehend.

In the caption, Hilton shared her sympathies with other Los Angeles residents who have lost their homes, noting, “It’s not just walls and roofs—it’s the memories that made those houses homes. It’s the photos, the keepsakes, the irreplaceable pieces of our lives.”

However, the former reality star and DJ acknowledged that she is “incredibly lucky.”

As wildfires continue to spread across the Los Angeles area, several celebrities are taking to social media to share how they have been affected. “Evacuated and safe with kids, dog and cats. Praying and grateful for the first responders,” Mandy Moore wrote in a Wednesday, January 8, Instagram Story statement. In a follow-up post, she […]

“My loved ones, my babies, and my pets are safe.🥹 That’s the most important thing, and I’m holding onto that gratitude with everything I have,” she added, thanking firefighters and first responders who have been tackling the wildfires for the past three days.

On Wednesday, January 8, the Paris and Nicole: The Encore star shared via Instagram that she was among the many celebrities who had lost their homes in the fires. Hilton wrote that her home was “where Phoenix took his first steps and where we dreamed of building a lifetime of memories with London.”

Los Angeles saw a frightening natural weather event — and its star-studded community has been heavily impacted. An extreme wind storm, caused by Santa Ana gusts, sparked fast-burning brush fires at around 10 a.m. on Tuesday, January 7, with drivers along Sunset Boulevard and Palisades Drive abandoning their cars to seek safety, according to the […]

More than 130,000 are under evacuation orders, per the Associated Press. Stars including Mark Hamill, Jennie Garth and Mandy Moore are among those who evacuated their homes. Other stars shared news that they had lost their homes including Milo Ventimiglia, Miles Teller and Billy Crystal.
