Chuck Schumer Goes on Self-Important, Lie-Filled Bender Over January 6

The last election dealt a significant blow to the Democrats, with Republicans emerging victorious in the presidency, the House, and the Senate. This outcome clearly indicated the rejection the American people had towards the Democrats.

One would expect this defeat to prompt the Democrats to reflect on their policies and consider making changes to regain favor. However, the Democrats tend to focus more on tweaking their messaging strategies rather than reconsidering their radical policies that have proven to be unpopular.

Rather than revisiting their policies, the primary approach adopted by the Democrats to connect with the public is through a video emphasizing their so-called “uniqueness” and their pledge to “fight” for the people. This move illustrates their desperation for support, which is quite evident.

They’re “different”? Really? Many of them have been there for years — for some, it seems like forever. They’re mostly the same sad characters who have been part of the swamp forever. I look at them, and largely, I think “weird.”

They certainly are “different,” though — but not in a good way. That’s why they weren’t getting before the election what it was that people cared about. They thought they could win by just demonizing President Donald Trump. They didn’t care about the things that the American people cared about, like the border and inflation. They were in their bubble, and it isn’t really about the people, but about holding onto their own control.

“We are not here because of who we are against,” they say. They then claim they are there to work for “working Americans,” “for you.” Wait, aren’t you the same guys who spent how many years being totally centered around your hatred of Trump? That’s been your definition for a long time, and you guys wrapped yourselves in that cloak. That was the whole focus of the Kamala Harris campaign — the “threat to democracy.” But Americans wisely didn’t believe that.

Then, after saying we’re not here because of who we are against, they just can’t help themselves and attack Trump and Republicans anyway, saying they would “fight” if Trump and Senate Republicans did things that drive up costs. But it was the Democrats who helped drive up costs by voting for more spending under Biden, which helped to drive up inflation. They whip up fear again about Social Security and Medicare despite the GOP not taking any action against them. Which of these is fighting for Americans when you’re throwing open the border, not prosecuting crimes, or giving away our money to Ukraine?

I thought the word “fight” was bad and violent — isn’t that what we were told whenever a GOP person used it? How many times did they use it in this video? It’s apparently okay if Democrats use it. But maybe people would believe it if they actually did anything to fight for the people and not just themselves. But they don’t. They suddenly think we’ll believe them now if they put out a video and say they’re “different”? I don’t think so.
