The identity of a Kansas woman who died on an Air France flight from Paris to Boston has been released.Â
Barbara Dipoli, aged 53 from Topeka, Kansas, was discovered deceased on a flight from Paris to Boston on January 14, as confirmed by the Massachusetts State Police to Fox News Digital.
Upon receiving reports of an unattended death, state troopers and the Suffolk County State Police Detective Unit promptly responded to Air France flight AF334 on its arrival at Boston Logan International Airport.
The preliminary information suggests the death resulted from a medical episode during the flight, according to police.
A statement from Air France highlighted that their crew undergoes regular training to manage such incidents and expressed regret over the unfortunate occurrence, offering sincere condolences for the loss.
Fox News Digital reached out to Air France for comment, but did not immediately receive a response.Â
