Ringo Starr and Wife Barbara Bach’s Relationship Timeline

Ringo Starr and wife Barbara Bach have been happily together since the ‘80s.

The couple first crossed paths on the set of their film “Caveman” in 1980. Before uniting, Starr (birth name Richard Starkey) was previously wed to Maureen Cox from 1965 to 1975. The former couple has three children together: Zak, Jason, and Lee.

Prior to her relationship with Starr, Bach was married to Italian businessman Augusto, Count Gregorini di Savignano di Romagna in 1966. During their time together, Bach gave birth to a daughter named Francesca and a son named Gianni. However, their marriage ended in divorce in 1975.

Despite connecting during the slapstick comedy, Starr and Bach didn’t start their romance until the filming was nearly over.

In a 1981 interview with Playboy, Bach revealed, “The reality is, we weren’t a couple until the very end of Caveman. While we worked together, everything was fine between us, but we were involved with other people, our separate circles of friends.” She continued, “Then, unexpectedly, during the last week of shooting, everything changed. Our relationship shifted from friendly love to romantic love almost overnight.”

One year later, Starr and Bach tied the knot in London. They’ve been by each other’s side ever since.
