Ryanair jet from UK forced to ABORT landing at last min over mysterious GPS ‘jamming’ near Nato border with Russia

A RYANAIR flight from the UK was forced to abort landing due to a mysterious GPS interference issue near Nato’s border with Russia.

The jet and it’s passengers – who were about to land in Lithuania – were forced to desperately divert to Poland.

This flight – which departed from London’s Luton airport on Thursday – had started it’s decent into Vilnius Airport before it made a quick change.

The plane started lowering into the airport before it desperately lifted off again and flew 400 kilometres away into Warsaw, Poland.

A representative from Lithuania’s air navigation organization verified that the flight encountered a disruption in the GPS signal, leading the pilot to take swift action.

They said on Friday: “All other planes were landing at the airport as usual.”

This unexpected maneuver, near the border with Russia and Nato, followed accusations from Estonia and Finland against Russia for interfering with GPS systems in the area’s airspace last year.

Lithuania’s Defence Minister confirmed an investigation was launched into the worrying incident.

Despite Russia’s denial of these allegations, a European airport halted all flight operations for a full month last year due to the deemed “highly risky” situation.

Estonia’s second largest airport in Tartu had to dramatically cancel their flights for weeks after two Finnair planes were forced to return to Helsinki.

Several airports in eastern Finland were even forced to reintroduced radio navigation equipment, in wake of the terrifying trend.

Thursday’s incident has not been the only one to affect Vilnius airport in recent months.

Over 800 instances of GPS interference have been reported over the last three months of 2024, Lithuanian air navigation said.

This shocking number was a huge jump from the 124 reported over the same time in 2023.

Putin reportedly holds a top secret war weapon dubbed Tobol, known to severely jam plane signals.

This piece of evil Russian technology has been commonly used to interfere with the GPS guidance of airliners and ships along Nato’s Eastern peripheries, according to military experts.

Around 4,000 British holiday flights were hit with delays believed to have been caused by the dangerous tech, it was reported early last year.

Mad Vlad’s weapons are thought to send bogus data forcing commercial planes to swerve and dive to avoid phantom obstacles that were not really there.

The Tobol device is believed to be kept at Russia’s military territory in Kaliningrad, between Lithuania and Poland.

Images online show a large satellite dish mounted on the ground at the Kaliningrad base that many believe is the Tobol in action.

The tyrant has apparently used a military weapon, dubbed the Tobol, to cause travel havoc.

This device in itself is not dangerous but it is designed to ruin satellite signals resulting in any weapon, jet, or other device completely missing their target.

It could have devastating affects on travellers and innocent civilians in these border regions.

The Tobol is believed to be a large satellite dish mounted on the ground at select military bases.

One is thought to be kept at Russia’s military territory in Kaliningrad, between Lithuania and Poland.

Some experts have claimed there could be ten of these devices in Mad Vald’s arsenal.

It has been thought these tech weapons could act as an invisible shield over bases to protect them from Nato’s arsenal of satellite-guided missiles.

Reports have suggested there are ten of these terrifying devices across Russia.

Experts have not confirmed what the tyrant is using the devious devices for but some believe it could act as an invisible shield over bases to protect them from Nato’s arsenal of satellite-guided missiles.
