Therapy Talk Joined The Chat
The leader of MomTok has been very open about going to therapy to help her heal and grow. When asked what the number one thing is that she learned while in therapy, she shared, “You think it would be as simple as it sounds.”
She continued, “You won’t get different results with the same actions. Change is extremely hard especially when you’re trying to rewire the brain.”
When another fan asked about the “best advice” she’s received from her therapist, Paul shared three things.
“Give those versions of you grace. I can’t give you what you don’t already have,” she explained. “The best part about healing is you get [to] help others heal.”
Another person asked Paul how she’s “truly doing,” and Paul shared that she’s “so sad” and “in a lot of pain.”
“This time is different because I have awareness, tools, and people to help. I feel like I’m grieving everything at once,” she said. “This year will be amazing but working through this as well.”

Taylor Frankie Paul Opened Up During Her Q&A On Instagram
Paul didn’t seem to shy away from the questions on the minds of her fans.
“What keeps you so honest? After the betrayals you’ve received, you’re still so kind,” one person wondered.
“Everything comes to the surface,” Paul replied. “I’ve betrayed people, been at the bottom, been the villain, most hated on the internet, I want [to] give the same grace and forgiveness I was given.”
Another follower wanted to go deeper into her relationship woes asking if her divorce or breakup with Mortensen was harder.
“Mourning both. I’ve been in flight or fight ever since, miscarried twice, went to jail while the entire internet spoke on all of it. Eventually became too painful to dissociate,” she explained. “Woke up and now it’s all seeping through. And I’m like FUUU—K ME. But let’s stay strong, look at it, feel it and let’s process so we can move forward.”
Paul also responded to a question about how she handles the hate and bullying she’s gotten online.
“Ignore it,” she said. “It’s none of my business what they think, nor do I care to.”
Season 1 of “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” is currently streaming on Hulu and will make its broadcast debut on ABC on January 27 as part of ABC’s Winter Programming Line-Up. Season 2 is currently filming, and according to Paul, will be released on Hulu in May 2025.
