Kyle Richards Breaks Down the 4th Wall Before Storming Off 'RHOBH' Set

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills was more dramatic than usual — thanks to Kyle Richards.

Kyle, who is 56 years old, voiced her frustration to her Real Housewives of Beverly Hills castmates during the episode that aired on January 21. She expressed her confusion about how things took a wrong turn and stated that she couldn’t continue the situation. Kyle emphasized her desire to be in a positive place in her life and explained that she had one more thing to say before leaving the conversation.

The incident occurred when newcomer Bozoma Saint John invited the women to her home for a wellness event. The topic of discussion revolved around Kyle’s alleged text messages to Dorit Kemsley‘s estranged spouse, PK Kemsley.

In a heated moment, Kyle informed Dorit directly that she was upset and felt like she was being unfairly judged for reaching out to PK. Despite expressing her love and care for Dorit and her family, Kyle decided to walk away from the situation after stating her piece.

Kyle claimed that the message was made to seem like “maybe it was something weird.”

Kyle Richards is hopeful that she and Real Housewives of Beverly Hills costar Dorit Kemsley can repair their friendship. “I think that if you’ve ever cared about somebody that much, I think there’s always room for repair, assuming they haven’t done something horrendous to each other,” Kyle, 55, exclusively told Us Weekly while promoting RHOBH […]

Last week’s RHOBH featured Kyle reading the elusive message she sent to PK after he and Dorit announced their separation in May 2024.

“I know you have a lot of friends but I am also one and here if you need me. I’ve never repeated anything you have ever shared with me and never would. (Meaning you can trust me always),” the message read. “Will keep sending memes and won’t forget laughing emojis.”

Kyle read it again during Tuesday’s episode — and this time Dorit heard the message.

The “never repeated anything” line needed the most clarification from Kyle, which she appeared to give.

“I don’t mean about regarding you,” she said, gesturing to Dorit. “I’m not talking about that. I’m talking about this, OK, which I can’t say because we’re filming and production.”

Kyle continued to raise her voice, adding, “That is all I f—ing said. Now I am done. I’m not going to be made to feel like I’ve done something wrong,” Kyle said through tears in the clip, before speaking to Dorit directly. “I’ve loved you and your family. F— everybody, I’m done with this s—. I’m not doing this anymore.”

Garcelle Beauvais made it clear that she did not believe Kyle.

“I don’t get what her talking to PK has to do with production,” she said in a confessional. “If you’re having a private conversation with someone, and you want to say, ‘I will never share what we talked about.’ … You would write with production. And she didn’t do that.”

The fourth wall was broken various times throughout the episode. Not only did the two RHOBH stars reference production directly, but cameramen were seen while Kyle was storming out of Bozoma’s house. (Kyle previously addressed walking off set during an interview with Us Weekly published in November 2024.)

“Everybody has bigger f—ing problems and yet this is all they can f—ing focus on,” Kyle said through tears. “I mean, literally, look at all of us. Our age and what we’re doing? To be confronted like this every day about this stupidity. Everybody, honestly, should be ashamed of themselves. Seriously.”

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Kyle Richards is weighing in on costar Dorit Kemsley’s marriage to PK Kemsley. During a Wednesday, February 21, appearance on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen, Kyle, 55, was asked whether she thinks the pair’s marriage will survive. “I know that they’re in a good place now […]

Eventually, Dorit and Kyle sat down for a one-on-one chat.

“When you write things like, ‘You know I’d never share anything.’ That doesn’t feel right,” Dorit said. “You would never say it on camera.”

Kyle, once again, stated that she wasn’t referring to anything said about Dorit. She doubled down on this in her confessional, but Dorit had other feelings.

Elsewhere in the episode, Dorit went for a spa treatment with Erika Jayne where they discussed what went down.

“I know what the text says, I know what the text means. I know what Kyle is trying to suggest that it means, but I think that’s very much a cop-out,” Dorit claimed. “When she said, ‘I will never repeat what we talk about. Or I never repeat what we talk about.’ That is, plain and simple, about me. Not about anything else.”

Erika did not agree with Dorit’s take on the situation.

“It’s presumed that it’s you, but you don’t know for sure,” Erika stated. “I’m not going to jump to assumptions.”
