Woke Lady Bishop Complains About 'Disheartening' Response To Her Politicized Sermon After President Trump DESTROYS Her

Last Updated on January 22, 2025

President Donald J. Trump destroyed woke lady bishop Mariann Budde after Budde politicized the National Prayer Service with Trump in attendance. Now, Budde is reeling from what she calls a “disheartening” response to her stunt.

Budde highlighted the existence of LGBTQ+ children from a variety of political backgrounds, acknowledging that some of them may feel endangered. This sheds light on the disconnect between the Left’s perception and the reality of Trump’s political beliefs.

Clearly, the Woke Left is not learning any lessons about WHY they lost the 2024 presidential election to Trump.

President Trump criticized a Bishop who expressed anti-Trump sentiments during the National Prayer Service, accusing her of bringing religion into politics in a negative way. He described her tone as unpleasant and ineffective.

Trump pointed out the Bishop’s failure to address the issue of illegal immigrants who have committed crimes in the USA. He portrayed this as a significant problem contributing to a spike in criminal activities. Despite his criticisms, he found the service dull and unimpressive, suggesting that the Bishop is inadequate at her role and owes the public an apology.

Vice President J.D. Vance made some facial expressions during the service showing his annoyance with the politicized sermon. Vance is talented at making fun of liberals with his facial expressions, as evidenced by his resounding victory over Tim Walz in the vice presidential debate.

Mariann Budde, who serves as the Bishop of Washington for the Episcopal Church, previously wrote an anti-Trump editorial for The New York Times and worked at Minneapolis-based St. John’s Episcopal Church, which has a “Centennial Fund for Social Justice” to bolster progressive causes.

Budde responded to the backlash against her in an interview Wednesday with TIME.

“I’m not comfortable with the — I don’t know how to describe it — but I’m perfectly happy to be in conversation with people who disagree with me. The level of attack has been sobering and disheartening,” Budde told TIME.

“I don’t hate President Trump. I strive not to hate anyone and I dare say that I am not of the ‘radical left’ either, whatever that means. That is not who I am,” Budde said in the interview.

“I am not going to apologize for asking for mercy for others,” Budde said in her interview, responding to Trump’s assertion that Budde should apologize to the public.

“The real people who are in danger are those who are fearful of being deported. The real people who are in danger are the young people who feel they cannot be themselves and be safe and who are prone to all kinds of both external attacks and suicidal responses to them. So I think we should keep our eyes on the people who are really vulnerable in our society. I have a lot of support and a lot of safety around me, so no, I’m not feeling personally at risk. Although people have said they do wish me dead, and that’s a little heartbreaking,” Budde said.

The American people are largely tired of the angry Woke nonsense that gets inserted into virtually everything in our culture these days. With her dumb progressive attack on President Trump, Mariann Budde registered yet another defeat for the Wokesters.

President Trump is ascendant, and the Left is freaking out. Which angry progressive moron will try to tangle with President Trump next?
