In footage from body cameras and recordings of a 911 call by the Los Angeles Police Department, there is a disturbing scene where a DUI suspect in California, covered in blood, is shown biting at police officers who were accompanying him to a hospital.

The man, identified as Brian Goldberg, aged 49, was able to stand on his own despite being injured when the officers initially responded to the crash. However, the situation quickly escalated that day, March 1, leading to him being restrained in handcuffs and surrounded by law enforcement.

Officers had released the footage in light of the incident involving use of force in which an officer grabbed Goldberg’s neck.

According to cops, a bystander called 911 to say that a blue Prius ran a red light, causing a three-vehicle crash.

When police arrived, they handcuffed Goldberg on the sidewalk. An officer told him they suspected him of committing a DUI.

“Keep your hands off me,” said Goldberg, whose head showed splattered blood, apparently from the collision.

He refused to get in the police vehicle, plopped down on the ground, and immediately started yelling.

“My body hurts!” he said.

The struggle continued.
