A 15-month-old boy from Texas has been reported missing, and an Amber Alert has been issued. The police are currently searching for the child’s uncle on charges of kidnapping.
Mateo Vazquez was last seen Saturday afternoon in northwest Harris County, KTRK reported. He is believed to be with Jason Vazquez, 25, his uncle.
In addition, a 21-year-old man named Joel Vazquez has been charged with interference with child custody. However, court documents do not specify his relationship to the missing boy or the uncle involved, as reported by KTRK.
Mateo was last seen wearing a black sweater and black pants. He’s described as 2 feet tall aand about 25 pounds.
The uncle, Jason Vazquez, is described as being 5 feet 6 inches tall. He was last seen driving a dark gray 2016 GMC Sierra pickup truck with Texas license plate number JZY5720, according to information from KRIV.
