According to the Coast Guard, the fishermen were stuck on an ice floe about one mile offshore.
In Ottawa County, Ohio, the Coast Guard saved four ice fishermen who were stuck on an ice floe in Lake Erie on Tuesday afternoon near Catawba Island, as reported by an official from the Ohio Department of Natural Resources.
The Coast Guard said the fishermen were stuck on the ice floe about one mile offshore around 4:30 p.m. The ODNR officer said all are accounted for.
The condition of the ice fishermen or if they suffered any injuries is unknown.
