The search continues for a missing Illinois man who vanished last week.
Kevin Spencer, aged 34, was recently spotted exiting NBC Tower in Chicago on January 24. He is an employee in WMAQ’s IT division and has not been back to work since that day, which seems unusual according to his colleagues and relatives.
Kevin Cross, the president and GM of NBCU Local Chicago, described Kevin as someone who is meticulous and attentive. He is known to inform his manager even for minor delays of a few minutes. His absence without notice raised concerns among his supervisors and colleagues as it is not his typical behavior.
According to reports from WLS, a family member mentioned missing a call from Spencer over the weekend. His sister also disclosed to WMAQ that she last conversed with him on Monday, although he hasn’t been seen at work since the previous Friday.
Spencer was described as being 5 feet, 11 inches tall, weighing 150 pounds, and having blue eyes and brown hair.
It is unclear whether authorities believe foul play is involved. Anyone with information regarding Spencer’s whereabouts is asked to call Chicago police’s Special Victims Unit at 312-744-8266.
