It is reported Brad Pitt is sad without his children during the holidays with Angelina Jolie

Brad Pitt reportedly misses his children and longs for a closer relationship, particularly during the holidays.

Tensions with ex-wife Angelina Jolie persist, with the actor allegedly believing she has influenced their kids against him.

Meanwhile, Brad Pitt has found comfort in his relationship with Ines de Ramon, who has been supportive.

As Pitt nears his 61st birthday on December 18, an insider reveals to Page Six that he longs to spend more time with his children and regrets not having a stronger connection with them, especially during important occasions like the holidays and his upcoming birthday.

The insider added that Pitt feels that Christmas “won’t be the same” without quality time with his family.

The actor shares six children with his ex-wife Angelina Jolie: Maddox, 23; Pax, 21; Zahara, 19; Shiloh, 18; and 16-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne.

The former couple finalized their divorce in 2019 and, ever since, have been embroiled in a drawn-out legal battle over their French Vineyard, Château Miraval.

Earlier this year, the outlet reported the Oscar-winning actor was “feeling hurt” when his daughter Shiloh legally dropped his last name on her 18th birthday.

“They used to have a good relationship but that’s in the past and it breaks his heart,” a source revealed at the time. “Brad feels like Angelina has turned his kids against him.” He feels like Angelina knows exactly what she’s doing.”

Pitt’s other kids, Zahara, Viviene, Maddox, and Pax, have also opted not to use their dad’s name in public; however, Shiloh is the only one who has made her name change legal.

The tension between Pitt and Jolie seems to have resurfaced recently, with sources suggesting that Jolie’s appearance with their son Knox at the 2024 Governors Awards wasn’t coincidental.

Speaking to the outlet, an insider shared: “Brad finds it a bit coincidental that a judge signed off on the [Château] Miraval trial just days before Knox joined Angelina at the Governors Awards.”

However, a different insider revealed that it was Knox’s decision to accompany Jolie on the red carpet.

“Angelina felt so proud having Knox by her side,” the source shared. “He typically prefers to stay out of the spotlight and Angelina respects that decision, but he asked if he could join her, and of course, she was thrilled that he wanted to be there.”

The insider added, “She couldn’t be more proud of him, and they had a really memorable evening together.”

Despite the ongoing drama, the “Fight Club” actor has found solace in his relationship with 31-year-old Ines de Ramon.

“Ines has been incredibly supportive, and Brad is grateful to have her by his side,” the source shared, adding that he’s looking forward to starting the new year with her.

Pitt and de Ramon first sparked romance rumors in November 2022, and their relationship became official when they made their red carpet debut at the Venice Film Festival in September.

Since then, the pair have been spotted enjoying their time together in New York, attending an art gallery opening and sharing an intimate dinner outing.

According to a separate source who spoke to In Touch Weekly, Pitt and de Ramon are considering starting a family together.

“Brad wants another chance at fatherhood,” the insider revealed. “He’s a different person than the first time around.”

According to People Magazine, a source revealed that Pitt and de Ramon planned a special Thanksgiving, prioritizing family time.

“They both love to cook and will be cooking together for everyone,” the source said.

The happy couple were recently seen together looking loved-up at Leonardo DiCaprio’s 50th birthday party in Los Angeles.

“He was in a great mood, was super social, and greeted everyone. He and Ines arrived together but did their own thing,” an insider told the news outlet.

Pitt and de Ramon also spent the summer together at the actor’s French vineyard, Chateau Miraval.

At the time, a source told Page Six that “He is living his life,” adding that his ex-wife “Angelina has already done the worst thing she can do, which is to separate the kids from their father.”
