David Beckham is creating quite a buzz with his latest campaign for Hugo Boss, where he confidently bares it all in just his underwear. The captivating photos and video, captured by the renowned fashion photographers Mert and Marcus, have taken the internet by storm.
The campaign was unveiled on Thursday, January 30, much to the excitement of Beckham’s adoring fans, including his wife Victoria Beckham. Victoria, also known as Posh Spice, playfully shared her husband’s Instagram post with a teasing caption that stated: “My boss,” accompanied by a winking-face emoji.
In the visuals, the 49-year-old former footballer flaunts his chiseled physique and intricate tattoos while modeling various pieces from the brand’s new collection, such as sleek black hip briefs and snug white boxer briefs. One particularly seductive shot captures him lounging on a leather armchair, exuding an aura of effortless cool.
In the tantalizing video, David stripped down to the soon-to-be-released briefs, flaunting his famously sculpted physique, washboard abs and (much) more. The clip sees him emerging from a white Aston Martin sports car in a sharp black Hugo Boss suit, coming home to his massive warehouse-style Manhattan apartment.
Here he proceeds to rip off his jacket, shirt and tie, unbuckling his belt and dropping his pants, putting him and the brand’s new designs on display. David strikes sultry poses as he goes about his nighttime routine — while shirtless in his underwear and socks — from bench-pressing to binge-watching TV to playing pool to casually eating a bowl of cereal.
He really gets temperatures soaring in an eye-popping steamy shower scene that leaves little to the imagination, even baring his preternaturally pert bum for a hot second. The campaign showcases the new Boss One Bodywear collection, which includes slick logoed styles crafted from a figure-hugging blend of cotton and elastane designed to offer all-day comfort and confidence. (It also doesn’t hurt if you’ve got a rock-hard bod, like David Beckham.)
“I once said that my bodywear modeling days had come to an end, but when Boss shared their ambition for the range and brought in my good friends Mert and Marcus to shoot the campaign with their brilliant creative ideas, I simply couldn’t refuse,” Beckham said via a press release. “The new Boss One collection is beautifully made.”
Daniel Grieder, CEO of Hugo Boss, added: “’It is also a testament to our joint dedication to style and excellence. Bodywear is an iconic product group, and with this campaign, we aim to inspire customers and fans of the brand worldwide more than ever.”
Consider Us inspired by the Hugo Boss-clad Beckham who, once again, proved he’s aging like a delicious fine wine.
The BOSS ONE Bodywear collection will be available on boss.com, at dedicated pop-ups, at BOSS stores globally and via selected BOSS wholesalers from February 1.
