An investigation by the Seattle police is underway after a 14-year-old boy was discovered unresponsive with various injuries following an incident of “domestic violence” on Thursday.
The boy was taken to Harborview Medical Center in critical condition, police said, but he died at the hospital.
The teen’s 29-year-old mother was arrested for investigation of homicide.
Police said “the homicide and sexual assault and child abuse units” were investigating the incident.
No further information was released as of Thursday night.
