After a one-second pause, she clarified: ‘…or fat! I said all of them! Old or fat!’
Karl reacted strongly to this, standing up from the sofa and addressing the camera directly. He exclaimed, ‘She’s fat-shaming! She’s fat-shaming again, Australia! I’m going on a diet.’
After storming off and leaving Ally alone to wrap up the show, she said in disbelief: ‘I was paying you a compliment!’
Following a news segment on Amber Heard and Johnny Depp’s court case, Karl made a comment, saying, ‘Being called a fat old man is like…’ Ally quickly interjected, reassuring him by stating, ‘You’re not old’.
Karl, 47, then grabbed Channel Nine publicist Adrian Motte for a private chat behind the scenes, telling him, ‘That’s disgusting, isn’t it?’
Ally, 42, defended herself from the couch, saying: ‘I basically called you young, thin and handsome.’
But Karl’s tantrum didn’t stop there, as he shouted: ‘I really try. My feelings get hurt!’

‘I deal with this every day. Every day is like this!’
Karl was then seen pretending to cry against a wall at the back of the studio, confirming the segment had been a joke.

Sad memories: Depp at times looked to the floor as his sister spoke. He appeared to be deeply moved as his older sister recounted their childhood together
‘Her reaction to that was she was in disbelief and sort of disgust because she said, “Dior, why would Dior want to do business with you? They’re about class and style and you don’t have style.” It was insulting, kind of taking away that one moment. That insult is there.
‘I’ve seen the insults, multiple times actually.’
