Ozempic has become a hot topic when it comes to weight loss — with some stars confirming they have used the drug while others denied it.
Chelsea Handler revealed in a January 2023 segment on the “Call Her Daddy” podcast that she had mistakenly been consuming a medication for Type 2 diabetes, typically prescribed to manage blood sugar levels. Following her anti-aging physician’s advice, Handler was taking Semaglutide, known commercially as Ozempic, before discontinuing its use once she became aware of its true nature.

Kyle Richards, meanwhile, was accused of using the diabetes medicine in January 2023 after posting a picture of herself showing off her abs in a bathing suit. “I am NOT taking Ozempic. Never have,” Richards commented on Page Six’s Instagram at the time.
