A woman from Minnesota has recently admitted to committing crimes on behalf of her twin sister. However, the crimes she confessed to are not as serious as originally believed.

Sarah Beth Petersen, aged 35, has pleaded guilty to two felony charges of causing significant bodily harm through criminal vehicular operation. These charges are related to her actions following a tragic accident in September 2023, where two Amish children lost their lives. The accident was reportedly caused by Sarah’s almost identical twin sister, Samantha Jo Petersen, who is also 35 years old.

The sisters are suspected of devising a plan to swap identities following the incident involving Samantha’s 2005 Toyota 4Runner SUV colliding with a horse-drawn carriage owned by the Miller family, who belonged to the Amish community.

Wilma Miller, 7, and Irma Miller, 11, were killed, along with one horse. Two of their siblings were also injured but survived.

After the tragic crash, witnesses described something bizarre.
