Bill Belichick and his girlfriend Jordon Hudson sparked rumors of an engagement when she was spotted wearing a large pink and diamond ring at a charity event in New Orleans before the Super Bowl.
The legendary football coach, 72, and Jordon, 24, were spotted together on Wednesday in exclusive DailyMail.com photos.
The couple dated for three years despite a near-half-century-year age gap, but only went public as a couple in December at a New York City gala.
Jordon appears to have been given some major bling by the former New England Patriots coach.
The former college cheerleader was spotted with the stunning diamond ring at a charity event at Desi Vega’s Steakhouse.
The event raised money for people affected by the New Years Day terror attack on Bourbon Street.
The couple is in New Orleans ahead of the Super Bowl LIX and attended the 14th annual NFL Honors at Saenger Theatre together on February 6.
FEMAIL reached out to jewelers to find details about the ring – and whether they thought it could signal wedding bells for the loved up couple.
An expert from Masina Diamonds in Marietta, Georgia, Rustin Yasavolian, shared his opinion with FEMAIL, suggesting that the ring likely features a pink diamond ranging from five to seven carats. Due to the rareness of pink diamonds, the value of the diamond alone could exceed $1,000,000.
Rustin further described the ring as possibly a pear-shaped or custom-cut pink diamond set in a unique asymmetrical wave-shaped custom setting with a shank adorned with pave diamonds.
Rustin explained that it looks like the Toi et Moi engagement ring trend which is French for ‘you and me’ and makes it a more sentimental style.
‘While it is a show-stopper of a statement piece, it certainly does appear to be an engagement ring,’ Rustin said.
Austin Willard, the founder and CEO of Faithful Platform Fine Jewelry & Engagement Rings, told DailyMail.com that it’s potentially an engagement ring because it’s on the left ring finger, but ‘it looks more like a cocktail-style ring’ so it’s hard to tell.
Austin believes it’s ‘a white gold, diamond accented, two stone bypass ring that holds an estimated 1.5 to 2 carat pear shape diamond and a 1.5 to 2 carat pear shaped amethyst.’
Rich Goldberg, the owner of Safian & Rudolph Jewelers in Philadelphia, said, ‘It appears to be set in a thin solitaire bypass style mounting, which truly showcases the beautiful diamond.’
Rich has football jewelry ties of his own, as he created the custom Brotherly Shove pendant for former Eagles legend Jason Kelce.
Rich said, ‘Knowing that Coach Belichick would, of course, have to get a nice quality diamond, it’s safe to assume it is most likely colorless and at least VS clarity.’
‘A diamond ring of this size and quality can easily sell for $150,000 to $200,000,’ Rich estimated.
Celebrity jeweler George Khalife, known as George the Jeweler, told FEMAIL, ‘The diamond looks to be around 2.5 to 3 carats, which, if natural, would likely be valued between $50,000 and $75,000 just for the stone alone.’
George, based in Detroit, said that with the diamond setting, agreed that the total value is likely in the $100,000 to $150,000 range and compared the design to Megan Fox’s heart-shaped engagement ring.
