According to reports, the trust fund was created for Suri when her parents divorced, and the amount set aside was “substantial.”
Since Suri Cruise turned 18 in April, she is now “allowed to access” some portion of the fund and will get full access when she turns 30.

Suri Cruise’s Trust Fund Was Part Of Her Parents’ Divorce Deal
According to reports, Suri is now far richer than she once was after recently being given access to a trust fund kept aside for her.
Her estranged father established the trust fund as part of the divorce settlement with Holmes in 2012.
The exact amount in the trust fund is undisclosed, but it is considered significant, especially considering Cruise’s estimated net worth of over $600 million.
“She was allowed to access it when she turned 18 in April,” a source told the Daily Mail about the teenager’s new wealth.

The remaining funds will be accessible once she turns 30 to ensure she doesn’t receive everything at once and manage it responsibly.

Suri’s Mother, Katie Holmes, Created A Separate Trust Fund For Her
In addition to Cruise’s money, Suri will have access to more riches, as her mother created a separate trust fund.
“Katie is fiscally minded and is looking out for her daughter, of course,” another insider said about the actress, who is reportedly worth $25million according to Celebrity Net Worth.
The source explained why Holmes chose to open a separate trust fund for Suri despite the teenager already having one in her name.
“She wants her to be well provided for and have a great quality of life,” the insider shared about the decision.
Just like Cruise’s trust fund, it is unclear how much Holmes’ package for Suri is worth, and there aren’t any details about whether the teenager is able to access it at this point.

The Teenager’s Father, Tom Cruise, Is Paying For Her Tuition
Currently, Suri is a student at Carnegie Mellon University, the prestigious private research university she joined after graduating from high school earlier in the year.
The teenager’s school fees are around $65,000 for her course, a fee which Cruise is paying.
According to reports, Cruise doesn’t mind paying this fee as it is also part of his divorce deal with Holmes.
“Tom is indeed paying for Suri’s tuition, he has always paid for her schooling and would never stop as he is a stand-up guy,” a close source to the actor confirmed, per the Daily Mail. “He has never hesitated paying his daughter’s child support and expenses. He does not go back on his word. He is fulfilling his obligation.”

At the time of Cruise and Holmes’ separation, Cruise agreed to pay $400,000 per year in child support, which he may no longer pay now that Suri has turned 18.
The deal also required the actor to pay for other expenses, such as Suri’s healthcare, insurance, and dental care.
Suri Dropped Her Famous Father’s Name
Earlier this year, Suri made headlines when she chose to adopt her mother’s middle name, Noelle, while dropping her father’s name.
The decision, which came as a shock to many, was reportedly made by Suri as a tribute to her mother, who has been her primary caregiver for most of her life.
“She is showing praise for her mother by using her middle name,” an insider told Page Six, adding that Suri “wants her own identity” to live by, one that is not connected to her absent father.
The teenager who recently split with her boyfriend, Tooby Cohen, has already begun publicly using the name.
It was first spotted as one of the names on the casting sheet of her high school play, “The Addams Family: A New Musical,” where she starred as Morticia Addams.

How Tom Cruise And Katie Holmes’ Divorce Affected Their Daughter
A year before Suri was born in 2006, Cruise proclaimed his love for Holmes by jumping up and down on Oprah Winfrey’s couch while on her talk show, “The Oprah Winfrey Show” in 2005.
Months later, the pair wedded in a lavish ceremony, gracing the pages of Hello! magazine as Hollywood’s newest power couple.
However, the glamor of their marriage soon faded, culminating in Homes filing for divorce just five and a half years later, a decision which allegedly caught Cruise off guard.
Suri, then a mere six years old, found herself thrust into the spotlight amid speculation surrounding her parents’ split and Tom’s affiliation with Scientology.

Following Cruise and Holmes’ divorce, the actress was granted sole custody of their daughter, shielding her from the controversies of Scientology, while Cruise retained visitation rights.
However, despite his visitation rights, Cruise’s sightings with Suri dwindled over the years, with reports of prolonged absences of more than 100 days throughout the year.
During a legal deposition against tabloid magazines in November 2013, Cruise reportedly admitted that Holmes filed for divorce “to protect Suri from Scientology.”
