A LABOUR row deepened today as Britain’s Attorney General was blasted an “arrogant, progressive fool”.
Lord Richard Hermer faces growing calls to resign over his support for Shamima Begum, slavery reparations and surrendering the Chagos Islands.

Labour veteran Lord Maurice Glasman insisted the Attorney General “has to go” because his views don’t align with the majority of Brits.
The New Statesman was informed by the founder of the traditionalist Blue Labour group: “He represents the epitome of an arrogant, progressive idiot who believes that the law can substitute politics.
“They talk about the rule of law but what they want is a rule of lawyers.”
Lord David Wolfson, the Tory Shadow Attorney General, backed up the statement, saying: “Law should not replace politics – this is true generally and particularly within the Labour Party.”
Lord Hermer is spearheading Sir Keir Starmer’s drive to surrender the Chagos Islands to Chinese ally Mauritius – and pay £9bn in the process.
Lord Hermer, who worked as a human rights lawyer prior to being invited to join the government by the PM, had a list of controversial clients, including IRA Leader Gerry Adams.
Lord Hermer also represented alleged al-Qaeda terrorist Abu Zubaydah and claimed it was “draconian” to strip jihadi bride Begum of her UK citizenship.
His other clients include a group of Nepalese and Bangladeshi migrants bringing a claim against British firm Dyson.
Reform Chief Nigel Farage and Shadow Justice Secretary Roberr Jenrick have both called for him to be sack over his woke views.
Lord Glasman also slammed Chancellor Rachel Reeves as a “drone for the Treasury”.
He said: “There’s no vision of economic renewal and no idea about how to renew the faraway towns.”
