He talked about his role in the new “Captain America.”

Joaquin is a highly enthusiastic and vibrant individual, eagerly anticipating the opportunity to impress his idol. His admiration for Sam Wilson has always been immense, and he considers it a great privilege to work alongside him. According to Ramirez, Joaquin wakes up every morning feeling unbelievably fortunate to be in this position. The responsibilities that come with carrying the shield are significant, but at the same time, they humanize the concept of duty in a profound manner. The Marvel franchise is unparalleled in its scale and impact, being a modern-day creator of myths. Ramirez views his involvement in this franchise as a tremendous honor, given the caliber of stories and the talented actors he collaborates with, as well as the captivating themes he gets to delve into.

Ramirez said his heroes were athletes and musicians.

“This is the way I get out; this is what I’m able to do in these avenues. I think for me it’s giving people permission and representation,” he said.

Ramirez also said he’s a Bulls fan, and he’s rooting for the Bears’ new hires.

The first showings of “Captain America: Brave New World” begin Thursday afternoon.
