Dorit Kemsley claimed that estranged husband Paul “PK” Kemsley backpedaled on an alleged email that threatened lawyer intervention.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star revealed during the RHOBH After Show on February 11 that her husband PK had downplayed a seven-page email she received from him. The email discussed matters of custody, legal issues, and threats of divorce, which Dorit shared details about in a prior episode of RHOBH.
In the After Show interview with her RHOBH costar, Bozoma Saint John, Dorit expressed her surprise at PK’s behavior when she confronted him about the email. She mentioned that PK referred to the email as empty threats, claiming he used a sledgehammer to crack a nut. Dorit emphasized that while he might not act on the threats, his behavior was unacceptable.
On the same episode, Dorit recounted waking up to the email, which she described as a barrage. Among other things, the email reportedly focused on financial matters and included expectations for Dorit to take charge of the couple’s mortgage and related expenses within a short timeframe.
Dorit and PK announced their separation in May 2024 after nearly a decade of marriage. The pair share two children, son, Jagger, 10, and daughter, Phoenix, 8.
The After Show episode also saw Dorit once again address her future with PK.
“Whether PK and I stay married or not, I really want to get to understand him better. Only for the sheer purpose of, I want to have a good relationship with the father of my children if I can,” Dorit said. “If we don’t end up together, then I have to be able to find a way to navigate the challenging things that come with PK. And so getting to understand the way his mind works better is only going to help.”
Dorit previously said that she and PK have yet to agree on the status of their marriage.
“We stand in exactly the same place we were at the very beginning,” Dorit said on the January 7 RHOBH After Show when asked where she and PK stand after announcing their separation.
Dorit continued, “There is movement but it’s just not forward — it’s left to right. I’d love to go forward, and I’m consistently trying to advocate for that.”
“Ask me in another six months. Hopefully, I’ll have a better answer,” she added, noting that she and PK have “work that needs to be done” to resolve the issues between them.
