A 19-year-old Connecticut woman and a 2-year-old boy were found stabbed to death Saturday night at an apartment in West Haven.
Law enforcement received a call to the apartment building around 9 p.m. on Saturday. Witnesses reported seeing a man jump from a second-floor window and sustain injuries. The man was quickly taken to a nearby hospital for treatment, as reported by WCIT.
Inside, they found the woman and the toddler dead.
Authorities in West Haven revealed that they had apprehended a suspect. However, they did not confirm whether the individual in custody was the same person who had leaped through a glass window and onto a pathway outside.
Police said they were joined by the Milford States Attorney’s Office and the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in the investigation.
Officials have not released the identities of the suspect or victims.
