I have a fascination with the perfumes that celebrities choose to wear, and I often find myself pondering about it during my spare time. Recently, I came across the favorite fragrance of none other than Meghan Markle. It was quite unexpected as I haven’t heard of any other celebrity who opts for the same scent.
In an interview with Express, Markle expressed her love for fragrances, stating that it is her favorite thing. She is so dedicated to it that if she ever forgets to apply perfume before stepping out, she would actually turn back and head home. The perfume she adores and should probably carry a miniature version of in her purse is the Oribe Cote d’Azur Eau de Parfum. Yes, the same Oribe known for its luxurious haircare products also curated this sophisticated fragrance.
Oribe’s perfumes may not be widely recognized, but they are definitely worth noticing, especially the Cote d’Azur. This particular scent stands as Oribe’s signature fragrance and is even infused in their haircare line. Drawing inspiration from the exquisite French coast, this perfume exudes a light, radiant, and warm essence that instantly transports you to memories of seaside summers.
When you first spritz Cote d’Azur, you’ll catch whiffs of zesty citrus like black currants, Calabrian bergamot and Sicilian orange. As it lays on your skin, the floral notes of tuberose, cyclamen and white butterfly jasmine emerge. The longer it wears, the more inviting it becomes with all-encompassing base notes of sandalwood, vetiver and crisp amber. It sounds like a scent fit for a queen (er, duchess).
Although Cote d’Azur might not be as popular as some luxury perfumes, anyone who has experienced the fragrance becomes completely enamored with its aroma.
“[This is a very clean, crisp, wealthy and classy smell with lots of attraction and sex appeal,” one five-star reviewer writes. “One of my favorites. It is definitely a different, unique and good smell. I buy a lot of rare-smelling perfumes. This is a beauty. I need 100 bottles just in case they stop selling it.”
At $135 a bottle, the perfume is much more attainable than some prestige bottles. (It’s rare to find a quality scent under $200 nowadays!). Smelling like a rich mom without spending an arm and a leg is incredible.
I completely understand why Meghan Markle can’t go anywhere without Oribe Cote d’Azur Eau de Parfum. You’ll feel the same way once you catch a whiff!
