During his concert in Sydney, Drake continued his trend of spreading kindness by offering two lucky fans $30,000 each to quit their jobs at McDonald’s. The Canadian musician is currently touring Australia as part of The Anita Max Win Tour, where he has been surprising audiences with generous gifts.
At the concert, Drake noticed a sign in the crowd that caught his attention: “Help us quit Maccas!” (a common Australian term for McDonald’s). Impressed by the message, Drake pointed to the sign and commended the fan, saying, “I like the style of my man right here.”

“In Australia, I’ve been hearing people call McDonald’s ‘Maccas,’ right?,”
he asked. Then, mimicking an Australian accent, he added,
“He’s got the sign, mate, saying ‘Help us quit Maccas’ mate. I’m all for that, mate. I’m keen to help you quit Maccas, mate,”
which sent the crowd into cheers.
“I’m going to give you 30 bands tonight so you can [quit],”
he promised, throwing in some Aussie slang he’d picked up: “Easy as, mate.”
Throughout his tour, Drake has been creating unforgettable moments for concert-goers, such as orchestrating a marriage proposal and a gender reveal. Additionally, he has been giving away money to fans who come prepared with signs, including one that humorously suggested “Adonis for President.”
It appears the Hotline Bling rapper is making an effort to improve his image following his ongoing rap (and legal) disputes with Kendrick.
The Australian leg of Drake’s The Anita Win Tour began on February 4 in Perth and will wrap up on March 16 in Auckland. In a gesture of love, he released a new album with PartyNextDoor on Valentine’s Day, aptly titled $ome $exy $ongs 4 U.
