3News' Danita Harris honored at Cleveland Cavaliers' Black Heritage Celebration

Harris was among 10 influential Black women honored for their remarkable contributions to the community.

In Cleveland, Danita Harris, a familiar face on 3News and anchor of the “GO!” morning show at WKYC Studios, received recognition at the Cleveland Cavaliers’ 21st Annual Black Heritage Celebration held at Rocket Arena over the weekend.

During halftime of the Cavaliers’ game against the New York Knicks on Friday, Harris was one of 10 influential Black women celebrated for their outstanding contributions to the community.

The Cavaliers honored these Black women during the game for their dedication, leadership, and unwavering commitment to excellence, acknowledging them for making Cleveland a stronger community through their efforts.

In addition, on Sunday when the Cavs take on the Grizzlies at Rocket Arena, they will honor Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) and Black Greek organizations. The event will also feature performances from Cleveland natives.
