Missing California Woman Found Dead in Suspect’s Home

A California woman who was reported missing has been found dead at the home of a man police believe she might have been dating.

On Wednesday evening, relatives notified authorities about the disappearance of Shondra Renee Zimmerman, a 44-year-old resident of Grass Valley. The Nevada County Sheriff’s Office initiated an investigation that led them to the home of Andrew Gall, 46, in Nevada City. Zimmerman’s vehicle was discovered at Gall’s residence, but he was not present at the time.

Around 4 a.m. on Thursday, a deputy from the Nevada County Sheriff’s Office tried to pull over Gall’s vehicle in Grass Valley. However, Gall refused to stop and proceeded to lead a pursuit involving law enforcement from Grass Valley Police Department and Nevada City Police Department.

After Gall’s arrest, his residence was searched, and Zimmerman’s body was located.
