Millie Bobby Brown is celebrating her milestone 21st birthday in style.
On Saturday, February 22, the actress from Stranger Things shared a series of joyful photos on her Instagram from Long Bay Beach in Turks and Caicos Islands.
Brown stunned in a bikini in a photo showing her relaxing in a hammock while reading a magazine as the ocean water glistened behind her.
Another photo featured Brown and her friends making sandcastles while yet another showed them on a boat checking out the marine life below.
Brown simply captioned the post, “birthday magic ✨”
The vacation destination is located between the Bahamas and the Dominican Republic and is a British Overseas Territory.
Turks and Caicos Islands are famous for their crystal-clear turquoise waters, beautiful sandy beaches, luxurious resorts, and a variety of exciting activities like scuba diving, snorkeling, water sports, fishing, and boat rides.
Earlier this year, Brown clapped back at internet trolls who criticized her looks, claiming she appeared older than she is in reality.
“Women grow!!” she wrote in a since-expired Instagram story in January. “Not sorry about it :).”
Away from the bright lights of Hollywood and her acting career, the Enola Homes star has been embracing a more low-key lifestyle.
Brown and husband Jake Bongiovi, who she wed in May 2024, are living in on farm in Georgia, a lifestyle she’s wholeheartedly embracing.
“I’m not doing it for the aesthetic,” Brown told Vanity Fair in an interview published earlier this month. “I’m doing it because I love it.”
She mentioned that she experiences pure happiness while on the farm and often disconnects from technology by seldom using her phone and letting others manage her social media accounts.
Brown added that she doesn’t subscribe to the “trad wife” trend — a concept that rejects being a modern feminist in favor of glorifying an old-fashioned lifestyle with a “traditional” housewife.
“There are maybe some trad wives out there doing it because it seems wholesome, but it is not,” Brown said. “If you’re not picking up horse sh— or washing a cow with your bare hands, then that life is not made for you. At all.”
Bongiovi, who is the son of musician Jon Bon Jovi and his wife, Dorothea Hurley, has also embraced farm life since tying the knot in May 2024 with Brown after two years of dating.
“We were pretty united going into it,” Brown said of Bongiovi. “We talked about our political views, what kind of family we want to build, the kind of home we want to live in, the kind of relationship we’re looking for, the kind of careers we want. It’s such an important decision, and we wanted to make sure we were making the right one. I knew I was. It always felt right with him.”
