She is the eldest daughter of former Olympic rower Gary Robertson. The duo might have met due to Eric and her father being an athlete pursuing the same sport.

Eric Murray And Jackie Robertson: Are They Married?

Eric Murray and Jackie got married in 2006, and they have a son called Zac, who was born in 2011.

Murray and his wife had a hard time balancing his personal and professional life with the athlete’s career leaving him little to no time for his family.

In his and Hamish’s joint autobiography “The Kiwi Pair,” Eric even wrote that his wife was considered selfish and inconsiderate by the rowing selectors in 2011 because she wanted Eric to be home for Zac’s birth.

Murray was making a huge accomplishment in his career at the expense of his family. While making a legacy in the sport, the rower missed his time with his son and wife.

He stated that their son Zac is on the ASD spectrum (Autism Spectrum Disorder), which makes it slightly different from raising him even though Zac is a great kid.

The Olympic medalist finally called it quits in 2017 after realizing it was taking a toll on his personal relationship and now spending quality time with his family.
