Ethan Slater recently marked a significant milestone of his first Oscar nomination by posting a rare photo of Ariana Grande on his Instagram account, and their public appearance followed shortly after.

Its beauty was enhanced by delicate pink floral accents that gracefully adorned the entire length of the garment. The cinch at the waist also enhanced Grande’s impressive hourglass figure.

The actress styled her hair in one of her signature ponytails, pairing her princess look with a stunning diamond necklace from Jared Atelier. Slatan looked happy to be there in a simple black tuxedo with a big smile. Grande was nominated for two awards for her role in “Wicked” at the event.

“Wicked” has most definitely had an interesting run this year, grabbing nominations from left, right, and center. As shared by The Blast, the record-smashing film features Cynthia Erivo as Elphaba, Jonathan Bailey as Prince Fiyero, and Jeff Goldblum as the Wizard of Oz.

When the Oscar recognition came knocking on Grande’s door, she took to Instagram to express her gratitude for the opportunity. 

In her post, she shared a carousel of images, including a nostalgic throwback of herself dressed as Dorothy from The Wizard of Oz during her childhood. Grande expressed her overwhelming emotions, stating, “I cannot stop crying, to no one’s surprise.”

She described the nomination as a feeling of being “humbled and deeply honored” and took a moment to acknowledge the brilliance of her fellow nominees.

An Instagram reaction was insufficient to show how Grande was elated about her Oscar nomination. She popped out with Slater in London, where they attended a Universal luncheon with her co-star.

Slater, who plays the character of Boq in the “Wicked” movie, also posted a rare photo of Grande standing on a hotel balcony in London, holding a bunch of light pink balloons.

Grande provided an intimate glimpse into the joyful day by sharing a memorable image on her Instagram Stories, much to the delight of her fans.

The couple met on the set of “Wicked” and began their very private relationship in 2023. The severe backlash that followed their relationship confirmation spurred the decision to keep things on the low.

Grande also insisted that she and Slater did not see each other behind their respective partners back while they were still married. The Nickelodeon star was previously married to Dalton Gomez for two years. Meanwhile, Slater had a nearly four-year marriage to Lily Jay before he and the star began dating.

One of the earliest controversies that rocked the pair’s relationship was Jay’s comment on feeling blindsided about their decision to become a couple.

As noted by The Blast, Jay felt she and Slater were in a good place before everything went sour. The actor even dedicated a Mother’s Day post to her last May.

Jay and Slater were also on double dates with Grande and her ex-husband, including meeting each other’s families. The actor reportedly revealed his affair with Grande to his ex-wife just days before it became public, informing her of his plans to file for divorce as well. 

Sources noted that Slater and Grande also lacked discretion on set, often holding hands between takes. However, another insider clarified that Slater and Jay were already separated before he began his relationship with Grande. 

“It’s understandable that it’s difficult to see an ex move on, especially in such a public way, and they are trying to be as respectful as possible,” the insider emphasized.
