In a commanding 81-46 victory over Wright State on Wednesday night, Cleveland State showcased a strong performance with Mickayla Perdue contributing 20 points and six rebounds, and Sara Guerreiro adding 17 points and seven boards.

The Vikings, with a record of 23-7 overall and 14-5 in the Horizon League, secured their third win in the last four games. As they head into the conference tournament next week as the No. 3 seed, Cleveland State demonstrated their dominance by leading by 21 points at halftime and achieving a remarkable 57.4% field goal shooting percentage.

On the other hand, Wright State, with a season record of 9-20 and 7-12 in the conference, struggled with a shooting rate of only 30.5%. Despite their efforts, Amaya Staton stood out for the Raiders with 14 points and 10 rebounds, marking her seventh consecutive double-double performance.

Cleveland State will finish the regular season Saturday afternoon at rival Youngstown State. They’ll then host a second-round Horizon League Tournament game on March 6 after securing a first-round bye.
