The main cause of the breakdown of the deal between Trump and Zelenskyy in the Oval Office

Zelenskyy was curious, asking at the White House, “What kind of diplomacy are you … speaking about? What do you mean?” This was in response to Trump’s statement that he was “aligned” with both Russia and Ukraine.

Vance interjected, saying, “I think it’s disrespectful for you to come into the Oval Office to try to litigate this in front of the American media.”

The Ukrainian president has emphasized multiple times that, although the U.S. government under Biden has provided significant aid to Kyiv, it is the Ukrainian soldiers on the front lines who are actively combatting Russian aggression. This aggression not only threatens Europe but also has the potential to empower countries like China, North Korea, and Iran – countries that do not align with U.S. interests.

“You have nice ocean and don’t feel now, but you will feel it in the future,” he argued. 

An angered Trump said, “Don’t tell us what we’re going to feel. We’re trying to solve a problem. Don’t tell us what we’re going to feel.”
