Vance’s recent speech at the Munich Security Conference caused concern among European leaders as he criticized the state of their democracies. This led to a series of emergency summits being held by prime ministers and presidents across the continent to address security issues.

A significant summit is planned to take place in London on Sunday, hosted by UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer. Leaders from more than a dozen European and EU countries, including Zelenskyy, will convene to focus on advancing efforts related to Ukraine and security.

“You are not only fighting for your freedom but also for all of Europe’s,” Kristersson wrote on X.

Officials from various European countries like Austria, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway, Poland, and Spain have also expressed their solidarity and support for Ukraine.

Meanwhile, Russia’s former president Dmitry Medvedev praised Trump while insulting Zelenskyy.

“The insolent pig finally got a proper slap down in the Oval Office,” Medvedev wrote on X.

“And (Donald Trump) is right: The Kiev regime is ‘gambling with WWIII’.”

Meanwhile, Russia’s special envoy Kirill Dmitriev reposted statements from Elon Musk and US Defence Secretary Pete Hegseth.
