One person has died and at least six others have been injured following a shooting in Cicero that resulted in a crash in Chicago as reported by officials in Illinois.
Cicero and Chicago first responders went to the scene of the crash at West Roosevelt Road and Cicero Avenue in Lawndale just before 12:30 p.m.

A Cicero spokesperson said at least four people suffered gunshot wounds, and one of those victims died.
The Chicago Fire Department said three other people were injured in the incident.
Two people were transported in critical condition to Stroger Hospital.
Two others were taken to Mt. Sinai Hospital in serious condition.
Another person was taken to Mt. Sinai Hospital in good condition.
A sixth person was transported to Loretto Hospital in good condition.
The intersection of Roosevelt and Cicero is temporarily closed while police investigate the shooting.
Officials did not immediately say where the gunfire broke out, what led up to the shooting or whether anyone is in custody.
Information about the victims’ identities was not immediately available.
