Democrat Senator's Late-Stage TDS Worsens, Calls Trump White House an 'Arm of the Kremlin'

Following the tense Oval Office meeting between Ukrainian President Zelensky and President Trump, strong and clear divisions were established. These divisions only grew deeper by Monday.

Simply put, it comes down to this:

One Side:

Some compare Zelensky to Winston Churchill, emphasizing his leadership qualities during the Ukraine-Russia conflict. In contrast, Russian President Putin has shown a focus on expanding his territory, being perceived as a dictator. Trump is criticized for being too compliant with Putin’s agenda, neglecting to support Ukraine.

Other Side:

Zelensky is accused of being corrupt and opportunistic, insisting on continuous financial support from the U.S. to sustain the ongoing conflict. On the other hand, Putin is portrayed as someone striving for peace while Zelensky is seen as preferring a state of war.

So Here’s the (My) Deal:

I’ve been around long enough to realize a couple of things.

First, after someone has made up his or her mind to the point of the steadfast positions on both sides of the Ukraine-Russia mess, no amount of debate or facts to the contrary is going to change either side’s mind. Second, as is true with most issues in life, the reality in this terrible war lies somewhere in the middle.

In other words, at least in this article, I’m gonna sit this one out — opinion-wise, that is.

Now, let’s move on to the topic at hand.

Democrat Sen. Chris Murphy (CT), who’s clearly in the late stages of Trump Derangement Syndrome, trotted over to CNN’s “State of the Union” on Sunday — where else? — to share his delusional thoughts with equally-TDS-riddled host Dana Bash on Ukraine and Russia, but mostly about the evils of Donald Trump.

Bash kicked off the festivities with a surprisingly unbiased (although likely a set-up) question:

Do you think there’s hope of salvaging this relationship with Ukraine?

Murphy being Murphy, he immediately launched into an absurd attack against Trump (emphasis, mine):

So it is absolutely shameful what is happening right now. The White House has become an arm of the Kremlin. Every single day you hear from the national security adviser, from the President of the United States, from his entire national security team, Kremlin talking points

For the last week, the White House has been pretending as if Ukraine started this war. That’s essentially saying that Poland invaded Germany at the beginning of World War II. There are still facts in this world and the fact is this Vladimir Putin is a brutal dictator. Russia started this war, and the entire pretext for that meeting yesterday was an attempt to rewrite history in order to sign a deal with Putin that hands Putin Ukraine.

Aside from Murphy’s silly “arm of the Kremlin” talking points, as history has shown us multiple times, Putin is in fact a brutal dictator with a wont to invade his neighbors.

Murphy continued to beclown himself — bigly:

That is disastrous for U.S. national security. That means that China will be on the march. Putin may not stop. America may be at war with a nuclear power. And for what? For what?

It appears as if America is trying to align itself with dictators that Donald Trump wants us to have our closest relationships with despots all around the world because that makes it easier for him to transition America into a kleptocratic oligarchy where Elon Musk and Donald Trump rule and steal from the American people.

Imagine waking up every morning and being that bitterly delusional. I doubt, if truth be told, that a majority of Democrat voters — or at least a plurality — (even if they only admit it privately) don’t believe the above insanity.
