New Orleans, famous for its widely known Mardi Gras festival, moved its last Carnival processions to earlier hours due to anticipated strong winds, thunderstorms, and tornado alerts on Tuesday, March 4, 2025.

Individuals wearing masks on intricate floats and dressed-up participants enthusiastically welcomed the celebrations, aiming to beat the inclement weather and relish the exciting culmination of the pre-Lent festivities.
