President Trump delivered an impressive speech during Tuesday night’s joint Congressional address, which many considered to be one of his best. He highlighted his accomplishments in his first month in office and didn’t hold back in criticizing Democrats. In some moments, he shared touching stories about Americans that resonated with the audience.
Some Democrats in attendance displayed their opposition by holding up political signs and wearing pink as a symbol of solidarity with women. They also disrupted the speech by shouting during the early part of Trump’s address.
One House Democrat, Rep. Al Green (D-TX), was asked to leave the event by House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) for refusing to sit down and allow Trump to speak without interruptions.
